Hah – I realise, it sounds a bit pretentious and it’s not meant to but today I’m feeling more than a bit “professional”. I have my first bit of professional writing published today, 25th March 2010.
The reason? My short story “Good Guys” is published under my pseudonym for writing adult fiction: Liz Muir in the Mammoth Book of Special Ops Romance anthology, edited by the talented and cool Trisha Telep and published by Robinson Press in the UK and Running Press in the US. As far as I know, I’m the only British author in MBO Spec Ops and I’m very fortunate indeed because the US copy is only being released in May and I already have my copies. *skippy dance of joy*
Just look at them, aren’t they lovely?
I realise I am biased here, but this cover is one of the prettiest Mammoth Book Of and I’m really proud to be part of it. I cannot wait to read some of the other authors like: Rinda Elliott, Sydney Croft, Shannon K Butcher, Marliss Melton, Laura Griffin, Rachel Caine, Charlene Teglia, Cheyenne McCray…and wow, the list is like the who’s who of romantic suspense thriller writers!
Enough gushing! Head over to My Favourite Books blog for a chance to win a UK copy of Mammoth Book of Special Ops Romance – open worldwide. I’ll even autograph it…wait, I really said that, didn’t I? Now that feels surreal!
